Places to Catch Your Breath: Seating Near Flights of Wonder

Just across from Flights of Wonder in Animal Kingdom, there are a couple of seating areas that give you a very nice view of the Tree of Life. Even better, there are two food stands nearby that serve some pretty good snacks. One stand features egg rolls (which I can personally recommend) and the other features boneless chicken wings in various flavors.

The first of the two seating areas has round red tables and chairs. A few are visible from the walkway, but many are hidden away, closer to the water’s edge. Even on fairly crowded days at Animal Kingdom, I have noticed that there is usually an open table or two here, usually the ones down by the water.

Here is a picture of the red table seating area:

The second seating area is just a bit further down the path toward Asia and away from Africa, under a roof to give you a little shade. This seating area is tucked away behind a large grouping of plants and it also isn’t as visible from the walkway as a result.

Perhaps on your next trip to Animal Kingdom, you’ll hear the egg rolls or boneless chicken calling out to you and you can take a little break in one of these nice, quiet seating areas. Get a few shots of the Tree of Life before you go, as it’s one of the better views of it available anywhere in the park.

About Kathy

I'm a lifetime Disney Parks fan who recently (and coincidentally) found herself relocated to Central Florida. These are our adventures visiting the many attractions and exhibits that are all too easy to overlook in favor of the headliner and super-headliner attractions.
